All interested coaches are encouraged to follow the new Grassroots Coaching Pathway organized by US Soccer. The South Carolina Youth Soccer Association has good information and the FAQ page lays out simple procedures and steps to take.

The starting point is creating an account (if you don’t already have one) at https://learning.ussoccer.com/coach/courses/available/16/details/1546 and taking the Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module that is free of charge and takes about 20 minutes. All for the Good of the Game!
